TADAA members attended the WA Spring Youth Forum at Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA in May of 2023. Youth have to be accepted to attend this event based on a project that they have completed during the year. TADAA members planned a resource fair for their community. They presented on how they planned the resource fair using the SPF (Strategic Prevention Framework). They first shared about the SPF and what that is. They then shared how they used it. Finally they shared the actual event and how it went. There were five youth who attended this year to present their project. This was our first in person conference since COVID began, so everyone was super excited to meet up with other youth from around the state who are doing the same type of prevention work in their communities. Youth spent the day not only presenting but listening to other youth groups present their projects and working on projects given during some of their sessions. After that they all had some fun at the water park and a dance party to end their day. Good work TADAA members on an excellent presentation!
