This year TADAA youth worked on a new positive norms campaign. This year’s campaign was about vaping and the fact that most of our youth are not vaping. Youth first learned about positive norms campaigns and why it works to promote the positive norms instead of sharing negative ads. They want their peers and adults in their communities to understand that even though the impression may be that all of our youth are vaping, that is not the case, MOST DO NOT. It’s ok for youth to choose not to use substances. There is a large percentage of their peers who choose not to use, so they should not feel pressured to do so to fit in. Join TADAA to become part of the larger group of teens that don’t use. They designed the campaign and had it printed as posters to hang around their schools and communities. This campaign was also shared in the Goldendale Sentinel. Watch for a new campaign in 2024.
