School-Based Programs
Prevention/Intervention Specialist & Project Success:
Addresses peer pressure and misperceptions while teaching students 7th – 12th grade about refusal skills. A part-time staff works at both schools to help students referred for services.
Project Northland:
A prevention curriculum to educate students grades 6-8 on issues around substance use and resisting social pressures.
Class Action:
Raising awareness of the consequences of substance use with an evidence-based program at both high schools.
School Policy Enhancement:
Ensuring that school policies are kept up to date and enforced consistently.
Positive Action:
